Find the superhero TV shows that had the hottest chicks in tights. Note: This is by no means a comprehensive list of series, specials or appearances of comic book characters on TV. It is only a partial list of the shows which had a hottie appearing in them. Where there are omissions, it is probably because there were only butt-dog actresses. Feel free to submit suggestions if we've forgotten a legitimate hottie's tv show. EMAIL: suggest@comicbookhotties.com.

Battlestar Galactica (1978)"There are those who believe that life here began out there, far across the universe, with tribes of human who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. They may have been the architects of the great pyramids, or the lost civilizations of Lemuria or Atlantis. Some believe that there may yet be brothers of man who even now fight to survive far, far away, amongst the stars."
Battlestar Galactica was originally brought to life in 1978 and existed for only one season on ABC. Yet, the fan following it was able to develop is passionate, and cannot be easily dismissed. Neither can we dismiss the incredible hotties that it brought to our attention:
- Maren Jensen ... Athena (BSG Original Series 1978)
- Anne Lockhart ... Lt. Sheba (BSG Original Series 1978)
- Laurette Spang ... Cassiopeia (BSG Original Series 1978)
- Jane Seymour ... Serina (BSG Original Series 1978)

Battlestar Galactica (2004)Currently, cable's Sci-fi Channel is resurrecting BSG and re-telling the story for another generation. For most fans this is a happy day, one for which they have lobbied hollywood for a long time. But for some purists of the original series, it is a potential nightmare--another Galactica 1980, and many are actively campaigning to boycott the new version. What has caused such outrage? Sex changes. Starbuck, Boomer and even the Cylons are now HOT chicks! If you ask me this is a surefire winner! Just check out the sci-chicks:
- Mary McDonnell ... President Laura Roslin (BSG - 2004)
- Katee Sackhoff ... Lt. Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace (BSG - 2004)

Captain AmericaPoor old "cappy" has had a tough time trying to make it big in hollywood. Apart from the difficulty bringing to real-life what is arguably the silliest costume in the Marvel Universe (if you're gonna sport wings on your head, at least be a Norse God like Thor), he's already botched one attempt at a major motion picture back in 1991. The effort was so horrible that it went straight to video. So, apart from a serial in the 40's, and a couple of TV movies starring cult hunk Reb Brown (producers avoided the wings by leaving them off the outfit and putting them on Cap's motorcycle helmet), winghead has had his chance for fame and screwed it. Although the powers that be are talking about bringing Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America back to the big screen, don't bet on it. Luckily, even though the shows sucked, there were a couple of hotties to bid the time:
- Francesca Neri ... Valentina de Santis (Captain America - 1990)
- Connie Sellecca ... Dr. Wendy Day (Captain America II: Death Too Soon - 1979)
