In 2002, Connelly won an Oscar®, as well as Golden Globe, BAFTA, American Film Institute (AFI), and Broadcast Film Critics Choice Awards, for her portrayal of Alicia Nash in Ron Howard’s Best picture winner "A Beautiful Mind."
