What's her story: This tall, blonde actress and singer was born in Brooklyn, New York. Bonnie Somerville studied at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute after going to Boston College. Heading out to L.A. she landed guest-appearances on "Beverly Hills, 90210", "Two Guys and a Girl" (1998) and "Homicide: Life on the Street" (NBC). She then got the lead role in TV miniseries "Shake, Rattle and Roll: An American Love Story"(CBS, 1999), as a '1950s rock and roll singer': Lyne Danner. She was cast in the satirical sitcom "Grosse Pointe" in 2000. Bonnie also worked with Steven Weber and Swoosie Kurtze in the independent dark comedy "Sleep Easy, Hutch Rymes" (1999) and with Ellen Barkin in the independent film "Crime and punishment in Suburbia" (2000). She also had a role in "Bedazzled"(2000).
